Palmarosa Essential Oil

Botanical name: Cymbopogon martinii

Palmarosa Essential Oil is steam distilled from Cymbopogon martinii, an aromatic grass closely related to lemongrass and citronella. Although it belongs to the grass family, its fragrance is surprisingly floral, with soft rose-like notes that have made it a favourite of perfumers and aromatherapists for many years.

Traditionally known as East Indian geranium or Indian rosha, palmarosa has long been valued throughout Asia for both its pleasant aroma and its role in botanical skincare. The oil is naturally rich in geraniol, one of the principal aromatic constituents also found in rose and geranium essential oils.

This particular Palmarosa Essential Oil is sourced from India and produced by steam distillation of the dried grass.

This is the second time I buy products from AromaSense and I love it. The first time I also bought Lemongrass, both are just amazing. I happen to fall in love with the scent of Palmarosa and I use it as a perfume kind of thing.
