Frankincense Essential Oil

Boswellia carterii

Frankincense has been used in spiritual and medicinal rituals for thousands of years. Often burned as incense in sacred temples, it was prized for its ability to calm the mind and open the breath.

With a deep, resinous and slightly citrus scent, frankincense supports grounding and introspection.

It’s commonly used in skincare, meditation, and for promoting emotional clarity and calm. Frankincense may also help reduce inflammation and ease respiratory discomfort.

Myrrh Essential Oil

Commiphora myrrha

Myrrh is an ancient resin oil with a rich, earthy aroma and deep spiritual significance. Used in anointing rituals and embalming practices in ancient Egypt, myrrh is valued for its purifying and healing properties.

Traditionally used to support skin healing, ease inflammation, and support emotional balance, myrrh brings a quiet depth and reverence to any ritual.

Its scent is grounding, bitter-sweet, and meditative — perfect for moments of reflection.

Spikenard Essential Oil

Nardostachys jatamansi

Spikenard is known from biblical texts as one of the most precious aromatic oils, often reserved for sacred rites and blessings.

It has a strong, earthy, and slightly musky aroma that promotes deep rest and surrender. Spikenard is deeply calming and is used to soothe anxiety, restlessness, and emotional tension.

Its oil comes from the root of a flowering plant native to the Himalayas and has been used in traditional Ayurvedic and spiritual medicine for centuries.

  • Bath ritual: Blend 4–6 drops with a tablespoon of carrier oil or whole milk and add to warm bathwater to soothe the spirit and settle the mind.
