Natural diuretics
Fluid retention relief
Essential oils natural diuretics. The body consists of approximately 60% water and an average body has around 40 litres of water to be distributed. When the body is in a healthy state around 3 litres of this water is to be found in the blood; 25 litres of this water is to be found in the cells of the body with the final 12 litres found in the lymph that baths the cells.
When the water levels in the body become unbalanced, an excess of water in the lymph cause swelling and puffiness.
Essential oils can prove very helpful in getting the balance back to normal. Added to a massage oil, which is then used to gently massage the affected areas upwards towards the heart is one method of use.

What’s best for ear congestion and hearing loss (Meniere’s Disease)?
Hi Debra, I believe that hearing loss is something that needs help of a doctor. ear congestion can be relieved with the help of tea tree and calendula oils and treated topically.
Does it have to be used in a bath or can it be rubbed and and massaged in?
Hi Liz, you can use the essential oils in massage well diluted in a carrier. There is an instruction on our essential oil bottles how to dilute for massage.
Is using these oils in a diffuser effective?
Hi DiAnna, These oils when diffused are not as effective as when applied topically, in massage.
