Many people come to us with one and the same enquiry. They ask for an oil that will help them to stay calm. They want to go through the day without getting anxious or stressed. Naturally, we offer a few synergistic blends such as our calming blend called Stream of Life, or Day dream and a few others. We do have other solutions to offer you as well.
Introducing Ravintsara ssential oil to you for a special reason.
Ravintsara essential oil, Cinnamomun camphora ct. 1,8 cineole, is distilled from the leaves of the ravintsara plant from Madagascar. The chemical constituents of the oil include monoterpenes (analgesic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, decongestant) and oxides (anti-viral and anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, expectorant). Although its Latin name is Cinnamomun camphora, camphor does not appear as a constituent within the GCMS report.
On an emotional level ravintsara essential oil soothes anxiety and stress, relieves depression, reduces fear and supports self-confidence. It shows a lot of promise for use in helping to focus in the midst of stressful situations and help calm the nerves.
The aroma of ravintsara essential oil
Ravintsara essential oil has a fresh, clean eucalyptus-like scent. The dominant component 1,8 cineole is responsible for that. The aroma is refreshing and energising.

- analgesic and anti-inflammatory
- cephalic (improve cognitive performance)
- immuno-stimulant (tonic)
- increases cerebral blood flow
