A nice warm water soak in a bath with aromatherapy oils is very relaxing and calming for your muscles, nerves and mind. Take a shower to relieve tension
However, early in the morning, when you most likely have some time constraints and need to be somewhere on time, having a shower is a better option. And yes, it can be as luxurious an experience. You can relieve the morning stress, calm yourself down and have a valuable treat which will take a few moments of your precious time and set you up for the rest of the day. The way to do that is to add essential oils to your shower.
A hot shower is a perfect muscle relaxer, soothing tension and boosting the levels of oxytocin, one of the ‘feel good’ hormones circulating our bodies. Hot water and steam mixed with essential oils, like in a sauna, can also make you feel energised, ready to take on the day.
