Skin is a vital part of the human body which provides protection, regulation of body temperature, receipt of information about the environment by means of nerve endings.

Powerful essential oils for skin are rose, ylang ylang, palmarosa, rose geranium and helichrysum, as they have excellent emollient, hydrating, antiseptic, balancing moisture, and sebum production, anti-inflammatory, reducing redness, regenerating tissues, promoting the formation of skin cells qualities.

Sensitive skin reaction can express itself as redness, itching and burning. Essential oils such as chamomile and lavender are good for sensitive skin.

Combination skin can be dry, oily, and sensitive. Essential oils such as jasmine, ylang ylang and vetiver have oil and moisture balancing as well as conditioning and irritation soothing properties and are good for sensitive skin.

Essential oils work on the skin healing and renewal. Essential oils such as carrot seed, frankincense, neroli, sandalwood and patchouli are cell regenerating, healing, rejuvenating, moistening and soothing.
